La Cuisinière Provençale
J.B. Reboul
The 28th edition celebrates the 120th anniversary of this legendary work by Jean-Baptiste Reboul. Since 1897, published by Paul Ruat in his small bookstore in La Plaine in Marseille and subsequently without interruption for three generations by TACUSSEL, Reboul has a reputation that has largely exceeded the borders of Provence.
Witness to a culinary know-how that has been passed down from mother to daughter for a century with indistinguishable success, my roughly translated words by poet Frédéric Mistral remain Reboul's best reference: “Long live this delicious book, which makes the mouth water and which is more useful than three quarters of those who make the [printing] press groan!”
