Tatoi [ta-to-è] located 5 km north of Athens’s suburbs and 27 km from The Acropolis, was the summer palace and 10,000-acre estate of the former Greek Royal Family and the birthplace of King George II of Greece. The area is a densely wooded southeast-facing slope of Mount Parnitha, and its ancient and current official name is Decelea [De-kè-le-a].
«Θα σε κάνω βασίλισσα», μου είπε ο καλός μου και με πήγε μια βόλτα στο Τατόι! Συμβιβάζομαι, για την ώρα…

These photos are gorgeous! I want to visit!
Thanks Brittany! I actually shot those sometime back in early December (which usually still feels like mid-November in Athens) thus all the yellow-ish foliage & the rainy day atmosphere!
Lovely photos, Athina 🙂
Thanks Lindsay! I could have done so much better but there was a wire fence all over the place blocking all possible good standing points and views… argh!
